Mandate of the Commission

The Wages and Compensation Commission (WCC) is the statutory body responsible for promoting fair and equitable compensation practices across Sierra Leone. Established under the WCC Act 2023, the Commission serves as the central authority for the review, regulation, and oversight of wages and compensation in both the public and private sectors. Our mission is to ensure that public sector workers in Sierra Leone receive fair remuneration that reflects their contribution, promotes social equity, and supports economic growth.
